Arrhythmia Center

Atrial Fibrillation Support Group

Emory Heart & Vascular Center now offers a support group for all patients with atrial fibrillation (AF or A-Fib) and their family members. Meetings will be held quarterly and will offer lectures from an electrophysiologist (a physician who specializes in the electrical system of the heart), a question & answer session, and an opportunity to meet others who have faced similar challenges with this condition.

Meeting topics range from an introduction to the traditional and newer treatment and management strategies for A-Fib, to a discussion of strategies and suggestions to live a healthy life despite having A-Fib. The Support Group is open to all members of the Emory community, including those who receive their care outside the Emory system. Intended to be more than just a series of lectures, we continually adjust the meetings using responses from past attendees to ensure we address the needs of the A-Fib community.

No meetings are currently scheduled. Please feel free to view past presentations listed below.
