Education

The Emory Transplant team will work to educate each patient about specific treatment and care, answering questions at every phase of the procedure. In addition, a personalized plan will be developed in conjunction with Emory's BMT manual covering everything from caregiver instructions to health precautions and nutrition before, during and after the transplant. Research

Support Groups

A bone marrow transplant is a very difficult and demanding procedure that can challenge an individuals physical and emotional health. The Emory BMT team, including an assigned social worker and a psychologist, will work to assure that a solid support system is in place to guide the patient at every step. Learn more >>
