Surgical Oncology

Georgia's most comprehensive and advanced center for cancer care

Our surgeons are the surgical staff of the Winship Cancer Institute of Emory University and provide a comprehensive array of treatments and surgical services covering a wide range of complex malignancies. Our program is a regional referral center for a variety of conditions, such as melanoma and colorectal cancer.

As Georgia's only National Cancer Institute- designated cancer center, our team of specialists joins an elite group of cancer providers nationwide who are on the forefront of the battle against cancer. The designation benefits patients through increased access to new clinical trials and technologies, which allow our surgeons to translate clinical advances into treatments, safely and efficiently.

Our program is also the only in metropolitan Atlanta to be given the Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Georgia’s Blue Distinction Center for Complex and Rare Cancers certification, based on our excellent outcomes and high volume for the surgical treatment of cancers.
