How to contact us, your first visit, and where we are
Scheduling First Consultation
Prospective patients have two options for scheduling an initial consultation with an Emory adult cardiac surgeon:

- Contact Emory HealthConnection at 404-778-7777 or 1-800-75-EMORY (1-800-753-6679). HealthConnection offers immediate access to information on Emory services and physicians.
Referring physicians also have two options:
- Contact the service's office in The Emory Clinic at 404-778-5040.
- Call the Emory Physician Consult Line at 404-778-5050 or 1-800-22-EMORY. Go here for additional information about referring a patient to Emory.
The following patient information is required:
- Patient's name, address and telephone number
- Patient's date of birth
- Patient's social security number
- Diagnosis and date of diagnosis
- Prior treatment, if any
- Insurance information
First Visit
Your initial visit will include an evaluation based on current symptoms or conditions and compilation of a thorough medical history. Please bring all pertinent medical records, X-rays, and cardiac catheterization films, or arrange to have them reviewed beforehand by calling 404-778-5040. Additional questions regarding appointments at either location can be directed to this number as well.
