The Adult Cardiac Surgery Team at Emory Healthcare is comprised of clinicians, educators and researchers recognized worldwide as leaders in their field. Led by Division Chief Robert Guyton, MD, our cardiac surgeons are responsible for some of the most advanced procedures and innovations in use today.
The program is considered one of the nation's top institutions for biomedical education, research, patient care and clinical volume. Our surgeons are all full-time faculty members of the Department of Surgery of the Emory University School of Medicine.
