Tummy Tuck (Abdominoplasty)
Pregnancy, significant weight loss, and the effects of normal aging can cause excess fat and stretched, loose skin to form along the abdomen. Unfortunately, this skin is unlikely to retract on its own. A tummy tuck is an effective surgical procedure that can tighten the abdominal muscles and remove excess fat and skin for a smooth and taut stomach. Although a wide variety of patients can benefit from an abdominoplasty, more women elect to undergo abdominoplasty than men, generally after having their last child. Tummy tuck surgery can even address separated abdominal muscles that may occur after pregnancy and cannot be tightened through exercise alone.VIEW TUMMY TUCK
Stubborn fat deposits can be unresponsive to traditional methods of diet and exercise, no matter how hard you try. Liposuction is a body contouring procedure that can address these isolated fat pockets and sculpt a smoother, slimmer physique. While liposuction is not an effective weight loss method, the procedure is an excellent solution for people at a stable weight who are struggling with stubborn "problem areas". Different surgical techniques are available and can be tailored to the individual patient.
Loosing large amounts of weight is a tough goal to achieve and is a major life accomplishment. However significant weight loss can also cause its own problems, including loose and sagging skin that is unable to retract to its original shape. Body contouring procedures can tighten and re-drape the skin after massive weight, giving a more youthful, fit, and healthy appearance. They are often used to benefit the stomach, buttocks, thighs, back, breasts, and arms, as these areas are prone to loose skin.
Buttock Augmentation/Buttock Lift
Many people are interested in developing full and shapely buttocks, but not everyone is able to achieve this goal with exercise alone. Buttock augmentation is an increasingly popular procedure that can add volume and contour to the buttocks. In the United States, fat transfer is the most popular procedure for adding natural-looking volume to the buttocks. A fat transfer involves taking fatty tissue from another area of the body using liposuction, such as the stomach, hips, or thighs, and using it to augment the buttocks. Buttock lift surgery is a separate procedure that is performed following massive weight loss to remove and tighten excess skin around the butt for improved contour and proportion. With a buttock lift, fat grafts or a flap can be used for increased volume as well.
Arm Lift (Brachioplasty)
The arms are a surprisingly common area for people to develop stubborn fat, and in most instances liposuction can do a great job of reducing these deposits and creating a better arm contour. After significant weight loss, the loose skin beneath the arms can have difficulty retracting leaving behind "bat wings" that can cause embarrassment and hesitation to wear sleeveless tops or swim wear. Arm lift surgery addresses these concerns by removing excess skin and fat and tightening the upper arms. After the surgery, the arms have improved contour and tighter, smoother skin.
Loose, rippling skin can distort the contours of the thighs and occurs most often following massive weight loss. Thigh lift surgery is performed to lift and tighten the skin on the thighs for improved contour and overall appearance. Thigh lift surgery is often combined with a buttock lift or other body contouring surgeries for comprehensive improvement of loose tissue.
If you are one of the millions of Americans that develop varicose veins or spider veins, then you may feel discomfort and pain in your legs—or at the very least, feel uncomfortable showing your legs. Varicose veins often appear as blue or purple streaks on the legs, and larger veins may bulge or protrude above the surface of the skin. Spider veins are small red or blue veins that may look like a spider-web or branches on a tree. Larger varicose veins may look twisted and ropey, and may even be mistaken for a bruise. There are several different minimally-invasive techniques that can be used to treat varicose veins, and the procedures will vary according to patient needs.
Fat transfer is a minimally invasive surgical procedure that involves removing fat from one area of the body (such as the stomach or thighs), and using it to rejuvenate and restore volume to another area. Fat transfer procedures can be used to augment the face, buttocks, the breasts or other areas, and it can also be used to help restore contour abnormalities after previous surgery.
CoolSculpting is a non-invasive fat reduction treatment that removes areas of stubborn fat with no downtime, surgery, or needles. Cold therapy, or cryolipolysis, is used to gently freeze targeted areas of fat, which destroys unwanted cells. The body then slowly absorbs those cells in the weeks following treatment, resulting in subtle improvement to the contours of the body. CoolSculpting is a great option for people who are at a stable weight but would like to resolve isolated areas of stubborn fat.
Labial hypertrophy is a common condition in which the female genitalia becomes enlarged, creating extra bulk that can be uncomfortable and embarrassing. While some women may naturally have large labia, the effects of aging or hormonal changes during pregnancy and childbirth can cause the tissue to enlarge. Many women can benefit from surgical labial rejuvenation to reduce the labial hypertrophy.
