Emory ECMO Program has offered this support for patients throughout Georgia and surrounding states including Florida, Alabama, South Carolina, and Tennessee. We offer 24/7 access to a member of our team for patient referrals. We are happy to review clinical information and provide telephone consultation to determine if ECMO support would benefit the patient. In many situations, we will offer remote cannulation for the patient in their current hospital room. Our team will travel to the patient, place them on ECMO support, and transport them back to Emory for further care.
