Healthcare Providers may call Laboratory Customer Service 24/7, 365 days per year with any question regarding laboratory testing, results, specimen requirements, expected turn around time, etc. Issues of a more technical nature may be referred by Customer Service to the appropriate testing department.

Emory Medical Laboratory's Referral Lab is a resource for esoteric laboratory diagnostic testing information. Whatever testing needs you may have, the Referral Lab team is ready to assist you and is focused on providing the highest level of service for both our patients and health care providers. Please be aware test result turnaround times do vary depending on the complexity of the test.

Emory Medical Laboratory offers a wide range of both standard and esoteric testing to support both Emory clinicians and outreach clients in their patient care. Although fairly complete, this catalog is not exhaustive of the testing capabilities EML offers. Please contact our EML Customer Service team who will refer you to one of our Referral Lab team members if a test of interest cannot be found in the catalog or if you have any questions.
