Emory Adult Congenital Heart Center

EACHThe Emory Adult Congenital Heart Center (EACH) is an internationally recognized cardiology service that specializes in the care of adults with congenital heart defects (CHDs). The EACH Center is the only adult congenital heart disease (ACHD) program in the state of Georgia, is one of the largest programs in the country and is rapidly growing:

• Approximately 3,000 patients currently followed
• Approximately 1,990 clinic visits conducted per year
• Approximately 100 ACHD surgeries performed per year

The EACH Center features a multidisciplinary management team that includes both adult and pediatric cardiologists, congenital cardiac surgeons, electrophysiologists, interventional cardiologists, nurse practitioners (NPs), nurses, social workers and echocardiographers. We also work with collaborative partners who have a special interest and expertise in managing adults with CHDs from a range of other specialties.  Some of the services provided include:

Medical management of moderate to complex CHD

Congenital cardiac surgery

Multi-disciplinary management of late complications of a diverse group of CHDs
   o Arrhythmia management
   o Advanced heart failure management
   o Pulmonary hypertension treatment
