Assistant Professor of Surgery, Division of Vascular Surgery & Endovascular Therapy 

Dr. Susan Shafii received her MD at the University of South Florida College of Medicine and remained at USF to complete her general surgery residency. She then went on to complete a vascular surgery fellowship at the Cleveland Clinic Foundation. Her clinical interests are aortic disease, limb salvage, and venous disease. Her research interests include aortic aneurysms and dissections in the African-American population.

Dr. Shafii sees patients at the following clinical sites: Emory Clinic, where she sees the wide range of vascular disease; Emory Aesthetic Center, where she focuses on venous disease; and Grady Memorial Hospital, where she joins Dr. Ravi Rajani, also from Cleveland Clinic Foundation and Director of Grady’s vascular and endovascular surgery program, to treat vascular trauma and surgery and continue to build the Grady vascular surgery program.
