What You Need To Know To Protect Your Privileges

All providers at EHC must complete the 2012 module by 4 p.m., Wednesday, December 12, 2012. This includes faculty physicians (e.g., TEC, E-CC, EMCF); Emory-employed, non-faculty physicians (e.g., ESA); private practice physicians; allied health practitioners (e.g., podiatrists, optometrists); and private practice mid-level providers (e.g., advanced practice nurses and PAs).

What exactly are the requirements?

There are three things you need to do to protect your privileges:

1. Get the annual seasonal influenza vaccination.

2. Get the TB test (tests performed within the past 12 months are permitted), unless previously PPD positive or have history of treated TB.

3. Complete all requirements of the Provider Patient Safety Module. This includes curriculum, test, and documentation of your TB test and influenza vaccination.
