Robert Grabenkort

W. Robert Grabenkort, PA, MMSc, FCCM

Robert received his BA in Chemistry and Natural Science at Bethel University, St. Paul, MN in 1972.  He then served in the United States Army as a forensic chemist from 1972-1974.  Robert completed his Masters in Medical Science at Emory University in 1978. 

Mr. Grabenkort has practiced critical care medicine in cardiology and cardiothoracic surgery as a physicians assistant since 1979.  He was elected as a Fellow to the College of Critical Care Medicine in 2002.

Robert served as Physician Assistant Section Chair for the Society of Critical Care Medicine from 1999-2001, and was a member of the Advocacy Committee Task Force.  He also served on the Credentials Committee for the College of Critical Care Medicine, and was speaker and author for several congresses and publications for the Society pertaining to physician assistants in critical care medicine.
