This technology is twice as fast as other 64-slice cardiac CT scanners and is less influenced by irregular heart rhythms and can image heavier patients than other 64-slice cardiac CT scanners. Unlike the previous technology, no beta-blockers need be given to slow the heart rate. It provides extraordinary anatomical details of the heart and coronary arteries. Within a few seconds, our Dual-Source CT produces images that reveal whether or not the patient has coronary disease.

The extremely fast speed allows the scan to virtually freeze the heart’s motion, enhancing diagnostic image quality and facilitating accurate assessment of plaque and blockages in the coronary arteries.
