Support Emory-Children's Center: My House

Making a Difference?...One Baby at a Time

My House is an emergency shelter home for newborn babies with special medical needs. The infants cared for at My House have complex situations that do not allow their release to the family. Because of their medical conditions, they are also not appropriate for foster care. Without the alternative of My House, these "border babies" could remain in a hospital for several months until the availability of an appropriate home.

Located in Atlanta, My House provides a caring environment for these babies until permanent plans can be made.

As a special project of The Pediatric Department of the Emory University School of Medicine and Emory-Children's Center, My House assures that the medical and developmental needs of these infants are achieved.

But we depend on volunteers and donations to continue to provide this valuable service to the community.
