The Centers for Heart Failure Therapy Locations
The Emory Center for Heart Failure Therapy offers two locations for your conveinence: Emory University Hospital and Emory Crawford Long Hospital.
Cardiac Care at Emory Crawford Long Hospital
Emory Crawford Long Hospital houses the Carlyle Fraser Heart Center, which offers a full range of cardiac services, including:
Comprehensive arrhythmia management including pacemaker and Internal Cardiac Defibrillator (ICD) implantation. ICD implants sense life-threatening arrhythmias and shock the heart back into its proper rhythm.
Balloon angioplasty and athrectomy, which removes rigid buildup (e.g., calcium) and removes arterial blockage rather than pushing it aside.
Multiple forms of echocardiography, which uses sound waves to view the function of the heart.

Cardiac Care at Emory University Hospital
The Emory University Hospital cardiology program has been recognized as one of the top 10 programs in U.S. News & World Report for nine years since the magazine began ranking hospitals in 1990.
Emory has long been a major referral institution for patients with complex cardiac problems. The Emory Heart and Vascular Center offers total vascular care to our patients for both cardiac and peripheral vessels.
Emory pioneered angioplasty, a procedure now used worldwide for opening clogged coronary arteries without surgery. Research by our cardiac team has shown that for some patients angioplasty is just as effective as bypass surgery, even for more than one blocked artery.
