Adult Reconstruction Surgery Fellowship

The Emory University Adult Reconstruction Surgery Fellowship offers a specialized orthopaedic surgery experience featuring advanced training in all aspects of both uncomplicated and complex problems of the hip and knee. Experience in minimally invasive and alternative approaches to hip and knee replacement, unicondylar knee replacement, arthroscopic surgery of the hip, hip resurfacing, management of femoroacetabular impingement, revision hip and knee replacement, and other state-of-the-art techniques will be included. The fellow will be active clinically with a high volume surgical experience. The fellowship will also include resident education, weekly conferences, journal club, and research opportunities. Applicants must have successfully completed an orthopaedic residency training program and be board eligible.

Duration:
1 year (starting August 1 and ending July 31)

Salary/Vacation:
The Adult Reconstruction Fellow will be credentialed as an Emory faculty member at the Instructor level during his/her fellowship. The salary is commensurate with a PGY-6 level. A comprehensive health insurance, malpractice and benefits package is also provided. The fellow will receive two weeks of paid vacation during the year.
