Ways To Give
Building a Foundation Together Charitable giving helps bring positive change to Emory University Hospital, Emory Crawford Long Hospital and Wesley Woods Center. Success very much depends on the generosity and support of our many donors. Donations go toward projects that will help improve the health and lives of those patients served by the EMORY HEALTHCARE system.
How You Can Help Emory Hospitals, a 501 (c)(3) charity, gratefully accepts gifts of any size to support health-oriented outreach and capital projects that benefit the patient community.
Below are the different ways you can help us improve the health and lives of the patients served by the EMORY HEALTHCARE System.
Cash and Checks Tax-deductible cash donations assist in supporting the daily operations of Emory Hospitals as well as expand and develop needed services. Most gifts to Emory Hospitals are in the form of personal checks. You may take a charitable deduction as provided by law. Make all checks payable to Emory Crawford Long Hospital, Emory University Hospital, or Wesley Woods Geriatric Hospital.
Long-Term Appreciated Assets Gifts of securities and other assets are an increasingly popular way to support Emory Hospitals.
Estate Gifts You can make a provision in your will directing a percentage or specific amount of your estate to Emory Hospitals.
Honorariums Honor a friend or relative by making a contribution to Emory Hospitals for a birthday, graduation or other special occasion.
Memorials Giving charitable gifts in loving memory of someone is a special way to pay tribute and show your love for those who have passed away.
Matching Gifts More than 500 companies will match or multiply donations their employees make to local hospitals.
Gift of Real Estate Property that you have owned for many years can be given to Emory Hospitals.
Life Insurance If you name Emory Hospitals as the owner and beneficiary of an insurance policy, you can deduct the policy's cash value as a charitable gift.
