Infectious Disease
Our infectious disease specialists have extensive experience in caring for patients diagnosed with infectious diseases, including hepatitis, HIV, sexually transmitted diseases (STDs), and travel-related infections, as well as with transplant-related infections.
Part of our mission is to reduce the impact of hepatitis, HIV and STDs within the metro Atlanta area and to improve and to expand our ability to provide services to our patients. We provide total patient care, from preventive services to proactive care in the early stages of infection to advanced care for critically ill patients. Education, immunizations and medications to prevent potential infections are central to the treatment strategies of our specialists.
Our physicians are all board certified in Internal Medicine and Infectious Diseases. They have published numerous articles in medical literature on various infectious disease topics including HIV and its treatments. Our group offers a variety of treatment options, drug therapies and clinical trials for the most common forms of infectious diseases. And, we offer pre-screening prevention appointments for the avoidance of infections.
