Emory Healthcare employees based at Emory Children's Center respond to the special needs of children locally, nationally, and around the world.  The center is the largest pediatric multi-speciality group practice in Georgia with 167 Emory University School of Medicine faculty members.  As an employee, you can specialize in pediatric clinical services, research, child advocacy, teaching, and other child-related areas.

Like other entities in the Emory Healthcare family, the children's center delivers care to all areas of the Atlanta region including Emory Crawford Long Hospital, Children's Healthcare of Atlanta at Egleston, and Hughes Spalding Children's Hospital.  Outpatient care is provided on Emory's campus.  Each of the center's employees enjoys the special reward of providing total patient care to children and their families.

New Facility Now Open!
Emory Children's Center is now located in a beautiful new state-of-the-art building.  This $42 million, six-story, 144,000 square-foot structure on the corner of Upper Gate Drive and Ridgewood Road truly raises child care to the next level.

Dedicated to clinical use, the first floor contains 29 exam rooms.  The rooms are configured in pods of four with separate waiting rooms.  This will create a more intimate setting and help add to the feeling of visiting a private doctor's office and waiting room rather than a large public clinic.

The second floor is devoted to research space and office space for pediatric departmental faculty.  The third, fourth, and fifth floors are for laboratory research, and the basement houses mechanical equipment and supplies for the research laboratories.

Emory Children's Center pediatricans subspecialize in Allergy and Immunology, Cardiac Surgery, Cystic Fibrosis, Ear, Nose, and Throat, Endocrinology, Gastroenterology, Genetics, Hematology/Oncology, Infectious Diseases, Neonatology, Nephrology, Neurosurgery, Pediatric Hospitalist (in-patient), Pulmonology, and Rheumatology.
