Want to push yourself to a higher level?  Then this is the place for you.  As an academic health care institution, we know first hand how important education can be and are willing to financially support our employees in their pursuit of continuing education.  We offer an extensive variety of in-house learning opportunities and seminars, as well as one of the best educational reimbursement plans available anywhere.

Organizational Development and Learning Services
Are you interested in adding new clinical skills?  How about technical skills?  Or what about basic desktop or patient applications?  With Emory Healthcare you can learn them all.  We offer hundreds of courses for our employees on topics that range from time management skills to IDX insurance information to re-entry programs for nurses.

Employee Education Plan
The Employee Education Plan allows you to take up to 18 credit hours per calendar year at an accredited college or university and receive a reimbursement of at least 80 percent of approved tuition. Education must be job related, of course, or fill an identified need. Full-time employees are eligible after six months of service and part-time employees after 12 months.

Georgia Higher Education Savings Plan (529 Plan)
The Georgia Higher Education Savings Plan offers a convenient, tax-advantaged way for you to save money for your child's college education. The funds saved may be used at any accredited college, university, trade or graduate school in any state. If you have money left over in your account, you can transfer the funds to certain family members, including a sibling, first cousin, or even yourself.

Skills Enhancement Program
Emory Healthcare fully supports employees who want to complete Adult Basic Education (ABE) and General Education Development (GED) diploma courses. For information, call (404) 727-7023.
