Comprehensive Leave Comprehensive leave is scheduled vacation, holidays, bereavement, and any time away from work not covered by the extended illness leave policy. Comprehensive leave makes staff scheduling more predictable. It also allows employees a sense of accountability and flexibility in how they use their time away from work. Time off is accrued every pay period according to the following schedule so employees know exactly how much time they have to enjoy. As you can see, the longer you work here, the more time you accrue.
Through five years..........8.31 hours per pay period (27 days per year) 6 - 10 years......................9.85 hours per pay period (32 days per year) 11 - 20 years..................10.77 hours per pay period (35 days per year) 21 or more years..........11..69 hours per pay period (38 days per year)
Extended Illness Leave Extended illness leave may be used for personal illness where you are unable to perform job duties for more than 24 hours or three consecutive days (includes accident or injury, pregnancy and childbirth, or other medical conditions).
