STATEMENT OF RESEARCH FOCUS:
Working closely with Otolaryngologists, I am involved in the histologic typing of various head and neck tumors, particularly odontogenic and salivary gland tumors, and how they relate to clinical outcomes. I am collaborating in studies looking at molecular determinants of metastasis in oropharyngeal squamous cell carcinoma. In addition, I am interested in the clinical presentation and treatment of oral vesiculo-bullous diseases.
