The Emory Section of Hospital Medicine is the largest academic hospital medicine program in the nation, led by an administrative team responsible for operations across five hospitals. Each hospital is led by a Medical Director who has 80-90 percent clinical duties at the site they lead. Four of the five hospitals also have nurse case managers on the clinical team, who coordinate the efforts of the hospitalist physicians.
