The Department of Radiation Oncology operates two facilities in Atlanta, both adjacent to hospitals that are part of the Emory Healthcare System. In addition, the physicians practice at the Veterans Administration Medical Center and the Edward C. Loughlin Radiation Oncology Center of Grady Memorial Hospital.
The Clifton Road campus is adjacent to Emory University Hospital and Egleston Children's Hospital. The second facility is adjacent to Crawford Long Hospital.
All Radiation Oncologists in the section are board certified or are in the process of obtaining board certification by the American Board of Radiology. Members of the staff also have active appointments with the Emory University School of Medicine.
The ancillary staff in the section including the Medical Physicists, Radiation Therapists and Radiation Oncology Nurses all maintain credentials through their individual certifying agencies.
