Ultram is an analgesic given to relieve moderate to moderately severe pain.

Before using this drug, notify your doctor if you:

  • Have any medication allergies
  • Are, or intend to become, pregnant
  • Are breastfeeding
  • Are on any other medications, either given to you by a doctor or purchased over-the-counter
  • Have any of the following: kidney/liver disease, heart/lung disease, seizure disorders, or a history of narcotic use

Always report any unusual symptoms once you begin taking the medication.

Do not drink alcohol and take this medication.

Be certain you are aware of how you react to this medication before you drive, operate heavy machinery, or perform any job requiring an alert, clear mind.
