An assistant professor of Orthopaedics at Emory University, Dr. Mines is board certified in both Family Practice and Sports Medicine. He has focused his clinical research on sports injuries and conditions of the ankle, foot, knee, wrist, and upper extremities.
In 2000, Dr. Mines received his MD degree from the University of Wisconsin in Madison. This was followed by a residency at St. Luke's Medical Center in Milwaukee in 2001 and a fellowship at the University of California Medical Center in Los Angeles in 2005. Since 2005 he has practiced at Emory.
Dr. Mines is a member of the American College of Sports Medicine and the American Medical Society of Sports Medicine. Dr. Mines currently serves as Team Physician for Mount Vernon Presbyterian High School.
