Chip is a staff physical therapist for Emory Physical
Therapy and a native of Oak Ridge,
Tennessee. He completed his
bachelor's degree in physical therapy at Berry
College in 1996 and earned his master's
degree in 2000 from the University
of St. Augustine for
Health Sciences. Chip spent two years as the staff physical therapist for the
Atlanta Braves, based at Disney's Wide World of Sports in Orlando, Florida.
He returned to Atlanta
in 2002 and joined the Emory team. Presently Chip is pursuing his specialty
certifications in both sports physical therapy and manual therapy. His special
interests are geared toward the throwing athlete, and he is a member of the
APTA-Sports section. Chip's recreational interests include running, weight
training, and fishing.
