Daniel is a board certified clinical specialist in sports physical therapy by the American Physical Therapy Association. Daniel graduated from Quinnipiac University with a master's in Physical Therapy in 2002 and completed a one-year residency in sports physical therapy at Gundersen Lutheran Sports Medicine in Wisconsin, where he also lectured as an adjunct faculty member in the physical therapy program at the University of Wisconsin-LaCrosse. Previously, Daniel has served as the clinical director at the Hughston Clinic in Columbus, Georgia, where has also served in a faculty role in their physician sports medicine fellowship program. Daniel has written a chapter on neuromuscular control of the shoulder as well as a chapter on shoulder rehabilitation for a home study course. Daniel joined the Emory Physical Therapy staff in 2006.
