Michael is a staff physical therapist at Emory Physical Therapy. Mike earned his physical therapy degree from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill in 1992 and has been on staff at Emory since his graduation. He is board certified in Orthopaedic Physical Therapy and has his certification in Mechanical Diagnosis and Treatment of the Spine from the McKenzie Institute. Mike is also a member of the American Physical Therapy Association. He has been an active community member, volunteering for the Georgia games and participating as a medical volunteer at the 1996 Olympic Games for the Atlanta Committee for the Olympic Games (ACOG). Mike also takes on the clinical responsibility for staff education, and is the contact person for physical therapy student internships. Mike's interests include mountain biking, running and weight lifting. He also worked on the Tour de Georgia cycling race in 2005.
