Emory-Adventist Hospital at Smyrna is a 100-bed, not-for-profit facility operated by Adventist Health System (AHS) as a joint venture with Emory Healthcare. The hospital has 88 beds dedicated to general/acute care and 12 beds in a skilled nursing unit. Through a 1995 joint venture with Emory Healthcare, Emory-Adventist Hospital became the first hospital in Atlanta to be co-owned by two leading health care providers — AHS and Emory.
