Emory University Urology - Support Groups



PROSTATE CANCER SUPPORT GROUP:
A support and education group featuring speakers on topics of interest to patients and families coping with prostate cancer. Held every first Wednesday at 11:30 a.m. at The Emory Clinic, Building B, 5th Floor Conference Room. For information about upcoming programs, contact Jim Hankins at

CANCER SUPPORT GROUP:
A general support group for patients and families coping with all types of cancer. Held at 2:00 p.m. on the first and third Wednesdays of each month at Emory University Hospital, Unit 6E Patient Lounge. Call Rasheedah Carkhum, MSW, at (404) 712-4375 for information and to register your interest in attending.

FAMILIES COPING WITH CANCER:
A monthly support group for family members and patients who are facing cancer. Come with family or alone. This group is open to the community. Held on the second Wednesday of each month from 6:00 p.m. until 7:30 p.m. at Emory University Hospital, Classroom D, Room E251, near the Auditorium.
