About Dr. Dhere

Education:

Dr. Tanvi Dhere has been working with many patients over the last year to treat Clostridium difficile (C.difficile). Fecal transplants performed with a colonoscopy approach have been very successful for these patients and she hopes to continue offering this treatment in the future for patients with the devastating infection. Dr. Dhere also specializes in inflammatory bowel diseases (IBD) and serves as the Director of IBD at Emory, and is on the Georgia Chapter: Crohn's & Colitis Foundation medical advisory committee. She is actively involved with research, including studying ethnic differences in the presentation of IBD as well as the use of mesenchymal stromal cells to treat Crohn's disease.
