STATEMENT OF RESEARCH FOCUS
Improving vocal diagnoses and outcomes via integration of advancements in the biomedical and biotechnological sciences. Currently focusing on the issues of vocal fold paralysis and vocal fold reanimation.
My clinical service has been to build an active collaboration with the pediatric otolaryngologists at Emory University to create a Pediatric Voice Clinic to diagnose and treat pediatric voice disorders. Previously, this service was not available and these patients went underserved.
