Emory Volunteer Services

momdaughterOur volunteers share their time, talents and experience all over the EMORY HEALTHCARE system.

At Emory University Hospital and Emory University Hospital Midtown, volunteers support our gift shop and our admissions department, visit patient rooms with book carts, provide visitor support in ICU and surgery waiting rooms, and raise funds for everything from equipment to scholarships. We also have volunteers at the Center for Rehabilitation Medicine, the thrift boutique and the emergency department.

At Wesley Woods Center, volunteers lead efforts to strengthen the Wesley Woods community and enhance the lives of our residents and patients through recreational activities, visiting with patients and assisting with activity therapy.

In addition to the individuals who volunteer, church groups, community groups and corporate groups volunteer their services. The Junior League, for example, sponsors residence activities on the Wesley Woods campus. During the summer months, our VOLUNTEEN program welcomes youth, 15 to 18 years of age who wish to learn and make a contribution.
