Understanding Your Bill

interior of Emory Emory University Hospital Midtown in Atlanta, GA

As a courtesy, we will file your insurance claims for you. However, final resolution of the claim is your responsibility. You are also responsible for any claims not paid on time by your insurance plan.

You will be billed separately for all services performed by The Emory Clinic and community private practice physicians, which include services from physicians in the hospital (such as radiologists, pathologists or anesthesiologists) who are involved in your care.

Please do not hesitate to ask if you have questions regarding your hospital charges. Patient account representatives are available by phone from 9 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. at (404) 686-2422. To speak with someone in person, please visit the Cashier’s window on the lobby level of the Peachtree Building.
