2014 Application Process

To be considered for the Emory Healthcare Administrative Fellowship Program, applicants must be master's-level graduates in health care administration, business administration, public health, nursing administration or an equivalent degree program. Preferred applicants hold a master's degree from a program accredited by the Commission on Accreditation of Healthcare Management (CAHME), Council on Education for Public Health (CEPH), or The Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business (AACSB). However, candidates from non-CAHME, CEPH and AACSB programs will be considered. Applicants must submit the following materials:

  • Administrative Fellowship Application (PDF) (.Doc)
  • Current Resume
  • One-page Personal Statement
    • Please address the following in a one-page or less, single spaced personal statement:
      • What stimulated your interest in health care as a career?
      • Why are you interested in completing an administrative fellowship at Emory Healthcare?
      • What are your post-fellowship career goals and how will an Emory Healthcare Administrative Fellowship help you achieve these goals?
  • Three Signed Letters of Recommendation (please address to the Administrative Fellowship Selection Committee)
  • Official Graduate School Transcript
  • Undergraduate Transcript (may be unofficial copy)

Applications and all supporting documentation must be submitted in one envelope and received by 5:00 pm EST on September 12, 2014. Please do not staple the application or any of the supporting documentation. Applications will not be accepted outside this time frame. Incomplete applications will not be considered. Please send all application materials to:

After reviewing all submitted materials, a select number of applicants will be called for telephone interviews. Upon completion of telephone interviews, eight to ten individuals will be invited on-site for second interviews. There are two to four available Emory Healthcare Administrative Fellowship positions each year. Final selection will be announced no later than mid-November.
