Application Requirements

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Food and Nutrition or DieteticsEmory University
  • Minimum cumulative GPA: 3.0
  • Completion of an Accreditation Council for Education in Nutrition and Dietetics (ACEND) approved didactic program

Applicants must have a bachelor's or master's degree with a major in food and nutrition or dietetics from an accredited college or university, with a minimum cumulative grade point average of 3.0 and a minimum DPD grade point average of 3.0.  Academic work must meet the educational requirements of the didactic program specified by the ACEND.

Applicants are rated on a composite of academic ability, personal attributes, applicable experience, and potential for contributing to the field of dietetics, as documented by references, work and volunteer experience, transcripts, and personal statement in the letter of application. Sex, age, sexual orientation, marital status, race, creed, national origin, color, or disability influence neither ratings nor accpetance into the program. GRE scores are not required.
