Cardiology

Emory Healthcare's Heart & Vascular Center has been consistently recognized by U.S. News & World Report as one of the top heart health centers in the nation. Clinical Staffing Resource Center (Float Resource Pool)

Nurses within Emory Healthcare's Central Staffing Resources Center (CSRC) are experienced, results-oriented and customer-focused team members who thrive in a team setting. They serve as a resource across the Emory Healthcare system, both inpatient and outpatient. Additionally, they use acquired knowledge, theory, research and experience to respond to changes in broad clinical settings.

Critical Care

Emory Healthcare has many specialty critical care units, including cardiovascular, cardiac care, medical, neuroscience, orthopaedics and spine, and surgical ICUs. Three of these ICUs have been honored with the Beacon Award for Critical Care Excellence from the American Association of Critical-Care Nurses. Just six units in Georgia have received this award.

Emergency Departments

The emergency departments at Emory Healthcare have an estimated 100,000 patient visits per year. They maintain certifications for chest pain with PCI (percutaneous coronary intervention), bariatric and stroke.
