Appointments available

  • Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, and Friday between 8:30 a.m.-4:30 p.m.
  • Thursday between 8:30 a.m.-12:30 p.m.

What is the duration for attending therapy?

On average, the duration of therapy is approximately 12 sessions; however, it could be more or less, depending on several factors, such as presenting problem(s), therapeutic goals, attendance and compliance, etc.

How long is a therapy session?

50 minutes

What is the cost for behavioral medicine services at Emory Family Medicine?

Since behavioral medicine services are currently not a part of Emory Healthcare´s managed care plans, the Department of Family Medicine charges a fee for service. Amounts charged are set individually, depending on financial need that are based also on the Federal Government Sliding Fee Scale. If I experience a problem in the evening or on a weekend, who should I contact?

Behavioral medicine therapists are available to address non-emergency problems/concerns during regular office hours, Monday-Friday between 8:30 a.m. - 5:00 p.m. In the event of an emergency in the evening or on a weekend, patients are advised to contact their local mental health hospital or 911.
