Sonjoy Raja Laskar, MD joined Emory University’s faculty in 2005 and has demonstrated a true devotion towards providing direct care to patients with heart failure, heart transplantation or ventricular assist devices, and teaching residents and fellows.  Dr. Laskar also travels throughout Georgia and South Carolina providing education to physicians about treatment options available for  patients with heart failure.  Dr. Laskar is an active researcher in the areas of echocardiography and ventricular assist devices as destination therapy. He is a member of the American College of Cardiology, Heart Failure Society of America and the International Society of Heart and Lung Transplantation.
