What We Do

Emory’s Cardiac Rehabilitation Program helps patients reduce their risk of heart disease. Cardiac Rehabilitation serves not only patients who currently suffer from heart disease, but also aims to identify those who could be candidates for problems down the road (smokers, people who do not exercise, a person with high blood pressure), and try to lead them down a healthier path.

Our Mission:

  • To provide optimal preventive and cardiac rehabilitative services, using a multidisciplinary approach tailored to the individual to assist with lifestyle changes.
  • To identify risk factors leading to heart disease and to provide treatment goals and strategies for reducing such risks.
  • To provide knowledge and skills needed to prevent heart disease recurrence, repeat procedures and hospitalization.

We can help anyone at risk for developing coronary artery disease and those with established heart or blood vessel disease.
