Christin Ko, MD, MBA, FHM
Assistant Professor of Internal Medicine

Christin H. Ko, MD, MBA, FHM is an Assistant Professor at the Emory University School of Medicine. She received her MD at Rush Medical College and completed her residency in Internal Medicine at Emory University. In 2008, she completed her Masters in Business Administration at the Emory Goizueta Business School. In 2009, Dr. Ko was designated a Fellow in Hospital Medicine by the Society of Hospital Medicine. She is board-certified in Internal Medicine.

Dr. Ko is the current Director of Hospital Medicine at Emory Johns Creek Hospital. Previously she served as the Director of Hospital Medicine at Emory Dunwoody Medical Center where she also held positions as Chairman of Medicine and Secretary of the Medical Executive Committee. Dr. Ko has also served as the Associate Medical Director of EHCA, LLC – a joint venture between Emory and HCA. In that role, her responsibilities included work in quality improvement, utilization review, critical care, and education.

Dr. Ko has participated in and chaired numerous committees at the institutional, regional, and national levels including the Society of Hospital Medicine’s Hospital Quality and Patient Safety Committee and HCA’s Physician Information Technology Committee.

Dr. Ko is a recipient of Emory’s William Osler Award for Overall Excellence in Hospital Medicine. Her professional interests include healthcare quality, macroeconomics, and information technology.
