John Vazquez, MD

John Vazquez is a board certified internal medicine physician, and is currently the site director of hospital medicine at Emory University Hospital (EUH) and the Emory University Orthopaedic and Spine Hospital (EUOSH). His educational background includes a Bachelor of Fine Arts at New York University, then his M.D. at Temple University School of Medicine in Philadelphia, and then a residency in Internal Medicine at Emory University. He has been a practicing hospitalist since 2005, and practicing in academic hospital medicine at Emory since 2007.  Aside from clinical inpatient care, he teaches and mentors Emory’s medical students and residents, and has specific academic interests in kidney stones, urologic emergencies for the hospitalist, Orthopaedic co-management, peri-operative care, and Venous Thromboemoblism in the hospital.
