Emory-Adventist Hospital at Smyrna is licensed as a 100-bed, non-for-profit facility operated by Adventist Health System (AHS) as a joint venture with Emory Healthcare. Through the 1995 joint venture, Emory-Adventist Hospital became the first hospital in Atlanta to be co-owned by two leading health care providers - AHS and Emory.
