Visiting Hours
There are no viewing hours on the mother-baby unit because each mother and baby are together in the mother's room. Visiting hours are from 11 a.m. to 8:30 p.m.
Other family members and siblings may visit when they wish during visiting hours. Adult friends may visit after checking with he nurse. Anyone in your family who has signs or symptoms of illness or have been exposed to a contagious disease should not visit you or your baby in the hospital. Siblings will be screened for infectious diseases.
- No children are allowed to stay overnight.
- No children under age 13 may visit unless they are siblings.
- Please ask family members to wash their hands before touching the baby.
Visitors in the Nursery
Only persons wearing the Emory University Hospital Midtown ID bands (mother, father of the baby or designated support person) will be allowed in the newborn nursery. Grandparents must be accompanied by a person wearing an identification band for security purposes. No other relatives or friends are allowed in the nursery. Cameras and/or video equipment are allowed at the nurses' discretion.
Family Waiting Room
Our waiting room includes the following:

- Vending machines
- Telephones
- Restrooms
Meal Times
Patient meal times are as follows:
- Breakfast: 8 a.m. - 8:30 a.m.
- Lunch: 12:30 p.m. - 1 p.m.
- Dinner: 5:30 p.m. - 6 p.m.
Savory Fare
The dining area is located in the hospital lobby and offers a full array of dining choices, including prepackaged selections from Whole Foods Market.
- Breakfast: 5 a.m. - 9:30 a.m.
- Lunch: 11 a.m. - 2:30 p.m.
- Dinner: 4:30 p.m. - 7 p.m.
Starbuck's
Adjacent to Savory Fare, a coffee bar offers a variety of freshly-brewed Starbuck's coffees and specialty drinks in addition to select pastries and desserts.
- Hours: 6:30 a.m. - 4:00 p.m.
ATM
An ATM is located under the escalators in the hospital lobby and also in the Peachtree building lobby behind guest services.
Gift Shop
The Emory University Hospital Midtown Gift Shop is located in the Peachtree building lobby.
- Weekday Hours: 8 a.m. - 8 p.m.
- Weekend Hours: 9 a.m. - 8 p.m.
Parking
Weekly parking passes are available for patients and their families. Passes are available at the cashier windows in both the Linden Avenue parking lot and the visitor parking deck (next to the Medical Office Tower).
