Remember to check your PowerChart In-Box

  1. Open PowerChart.
  2. Click on the In-Box icon (small envelope) near the top of the screen.
  3. If you do not see the icon, click "View," then "In-Box" in the dropdown menu.
  4. When the in-box opens, click the "Sign and Review" icon on the left-side panel of the screen.
  5. You will notice several sections: "Sign," "Review" and "Documents to Dictate."
  6. Double clicking a line item will open to a document in the patient's record.

It is important to routinely check your in-box for reports to dictate, coding clarifications to complete and sign and reports to sign. Please make checking your in-box a routine in order to avoid delinquent records and to keep your patients' records current for continuity of care.
