Winston Hewitt, MD


Winston Hewitt, MD, who started practicing at Emory in 2008, is Assistant Professor of Surgery at the Emory Transplant Center. Prior to joining Emory, Dr. Hewitt was assistant professor and program director of the abdominal organ transplantation surgical fellowship program at the Mayo Clinic in Jacksonville, FL. He also served on the Organ Transplant Advisory Council for the state of Florida.

Personal

Dr. Hewitt likes to play sports and travel. He became interested in Liver Transplant when he worked in the Artificial Liver Support research Lab for two years as a resident.
