Dr. Jacques E. Dion received his BA from the University of Ottawa in 1974 and completed his MD in 1978. Upon finishing his internship at Harbor UCLA Medical Center, he underwent two years of diagnostic radiology residency training at the University of Montreal's Hospital Notre-Dame. Dr. Dion completed fellowships in Neuroradiology and Peripheral Interventional Radiology in London and Ontario from 1983-85. Following completion of these fellowships, he received an appointment as an Assistant Professor at the University of Montreal, where he was Head of Diagnostic and Interventional Neuroradiology and Interventional Radiology.
Dr. Dion joined Emory University Hospital in Atlanta, Georgia in 1998, after serving on the faculties of UCLA Medical Center and University of Virginia Hospital. He is currently Professor and Section Head of Interventional Neuroradiology at Emory, with a joint appointment in the Department of Neurosurgery.
Atlanta Magazine named Dr. Dion one of the Atlanta Metro area Top Doctors of Diagnostic Radiology. The magazine’s unique selection process allows physicians to nominate other physicians that they feel are clinically outstanding, both regionally and nationally.
