Assist stroke survivors in redefining roles within the family and at work, resuming intimacy, overcoming barriers in the environment and reclaiming autonomy. Topics include -
1. Improve awareness of stroke warning signs, risk factors for stroke and lifestyle management for stroke prevention
2. Discuss options to optimize function through medical management of spasticity following stroke
3. Discuss research opportunities available at Emory for spasticity management in the upper extremity following a stroke
