Eugene Pendleton, MD, is assistant professor of orthopedic surgery and director of orthopedic education for the Ambulatory Care Block of the Emory University School of Medicine. He is board certified in orthopedic surgery. He started practicing at Emory in 2007. |
What Makes Dr. Pendleton a Standout
Dr. Pendleton was in private practice in orthopedics for 30 years at Northside Hospital, where he specialized in spine surgery, joint replacement, and arthroscopic knee and shoulder surgery. At Emory, Dr. Pendleton is a general orthopedist with special emphasis on geriatric orthopedic problems, in addition to supervising residents and teaching medical students.

Personal
Dr. Pendleton's wife is an ordained Methodist minister who is a pastoral counselor and also specializes in gerontological issues. They have three children, a daughter, who is a school counselor at Woodward Academy, a son who is a product development consultant, and a son who is a fourth-year orthopedic resident in the Emory Orthopaedic Residency Program. Dr. Pendleton enjoys collecting and repairing antique electric trains, boating, and fly fishing.
